This policy covers the website heimweit.de. The Heimweit app is still in development; it will get its own policy before it is released. The German version is legally binding.

2. Visiting the website

heimweit.de sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no content from third-party servers. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to deliver the page and detect attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted automatically after a short time.

3. Hosting

The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, with whom we have a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your email address and your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete them once they are no longer needed and no legal retention period applies.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). An email to kontakt@heimweit.de is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Ours is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

6. Changes

We update this policy when the processing changes. The version published here applies.
